What are you waiting for? Just ask the girl out!

Don’t you loathe it when a man keeps texting you, even some lengthy phone calls but he next actually asks you out? You have a great rapport and the conversation flows easily, and he says he can’t wait to meet you…but nothing. Am I missing something here? Please don’t tell me I’m the only one this happens to.

The problem with a texting relationship it can bond you without you really knowing the other person. I have been told by a man that he wanted to make me his wife, and he had never met me! Scary stuff, right? We’ve all heard the catfish stories, and we’ve all been on dates where he has clearly misrepresented himself. It’s so much easier to do with a texting only relationship. Even a few phone calls thrown in for good measure really doesn’t give you a good idea of his essence.

There’s a lot of rubbish that you had to weed out in online dating before you get to the good stuff. The crazies, the men wanting a one night stand, a sexting relationship, the men that can only drum up a “Hi”, and then the “copy and paster”, which is quite frankly quite insulting. Now sieve through all these types, and you may be lucky enough to find a few gems. 

With those gems, after some communication on the dating app, you should exchange numbers. I wouldn’t meet a man that I didn’t have his number, I only to text him that I am going to be a few minutes late. After all, you can always block him. I am an old fashioned kind of gal, I expect the man to initiate, and I want him to make the first move and ask me out. What are you waiting for? The next man to ask me out. It’s so frustrating being in limbo. The “we should go out sometime” is so evasive, Either you want to meet me or you don’t can you please just ask me out!

How hard is it to meet for a drink? It takes so little effort for a man to meet for a date…I assure you it takes a woman a whole lot more time to get ready. Suggest a date and time you are available and see if I am too. How hard is that? Easy! We can figure this out, I promise, but you have to take the bull by the horns and actually ask me. 

No one likes to face rejection, but after texting you usually now if a girl is somewhat interested. If she does reject you and say no, at least looking on the bright side it frees up more time for you to text other women. Moving on…
